Aircraft Ground Support Systems

Oilgear provides specialized design and equipment for ground based support systems both for hydraulically operated equipment and fuel test systems. Our equipment operates with most industry fluids and fuels with limited operating pressures dependant on fluid in use. 

Test Rigs

Complete hydraulic and electrical control systems for hose testing with simulated climate control, specialized testing of flying control valves, compatible with most industry fluids up to 600bar.

Land Forces 

Tracked Bridge Deployment Vehicle

• A complete hydraulic system for laying out bridging stuctures in the field

Radar Tracking Drive System

• Hydraulic control systems to control the elevation, position of radar dishes and platform stabilisation whilst tracking targets

Oilgear has supplied to the OEM hydraulic systems to deploy,
control and recover Sonar Towing Arrays.  

Specialized Pump Applications

As equipment manufacturers, Oilgear has full R&D facilities at our Leeds and USA sites. Working with both UK and USA Defense Departments, we have developed pumps for use with low magnetic signature applications and also closed loop units for possible use in ship steering control systems.

Weapons Handling Systems

Along with a major OEM, Oilgear has designed and manufactured hydraulic control systems to operate storage, transfer and weapons loading equipment. This was accomplished with considerable cost and space saving over previous systems. 

Centralized Pump Systems

Using fixed displacement radial pumps from our Fraser range we have supplied equipment for providing centralized hydraulic systems, however our pump range offers a wide selection of displacements, fixed and variable up to 600bar.
